Terms &
Conditions (version 1.0. 20.10.2021)
These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern all the rights and obligations of the Buyer and of the Seller (SIA OCT composites, Reg. nr. 54103060951)
for all orders placed remotely via the online webshop, www.shop.octcomposites.com Seller may alter the Terms and Conditions
from time to time, therefore, the customer must read the terms before each
order.
Please read the Terms and Conditions of Sale
carefully before using our online webshop. By checking the box “I accept” in
the section “Payment method” the Buyer declares, without any reservation, to
have read and accepted these Seller Terms and Conditions.
Registration
For safety reasons and customer convenience,
the Buyer, before submitting the purchase order may create an account by
following the registration procedure and by providing the necessary
information, which will be protected in compliance with Sellers Privacy Policy
the present. In case the Buyer does not wish to register and create an account,
the Buyer may continue purchase as a guest, providing only the necessary notice
of payment and shipment details.
Prices and Payment methods
All prices in Sellers
online webshop are in euro, including the existing VAT 21% valid in the Republic of Latvia. Prices
include materials, labor, packaging,
dispatch of products, and VAT21%. Shipping costs are calculated separately with 21% VAT. All other costs that the
customer may incur due to the receipt of the goods, for example, customs clearance
of goods are not included in the Seller's price. Seller keeps right to change pricing without further notice.
All payments are made in euros to the Seller's bank account A/S Swedbank LV32HABA0551029097695 with payment methods:
Placing an order and order confirmation
The Buyer can easily place an order on our online webshop at any time. Once the products have been selected, the Buyer can confirm the order by completing the following steps:
- Confirm the products, selected
options, and quantities;
- Complete the information requested for billing details;
- Complete the information requested for delivery details and select delivery method;
- Select payment method;
- Accept Terms and Conditions of Sale, by clicking on the button indicated;
- Confirm the order by making a payment;
All products placed on the online webshop are pre-ordered and will be produced only after receiving the payment. After receiving the payment, the Seller will start processing the Buyers order to ensure that it is dispatched within 15 - 20 working days* ( term specified in the description of the product) from the Sellers' warehouse.
When the products are prepared and issued to the carrier, the Seller will send the shipment details and tracking number to the Buyer's specified
email address.
*The Seller reserves the right in case of
Force Majeure (example: Covid 19 pandemic restrictions worldwide and
nationally) to extend the production and dispatch deadlines till 90 days, by
informing the Buyer to a specified email address.
Shipping & Delivery
Seller provides WORLDWIDE SHIPPING in collaboration with shipping companies:
Estimated delivery time after production:
- Europe - 5-7 working days from dispatching;
- Other countries - 5-10 working days from dispatching;
Deliveries outside Europe are provided with DHL and Latvijan Post Service.
Taking care of the safety of products all our parts are
packed in cardboard boxes with a reinforced frame and bubble wrap inside.
When
the goods are prepared and issued to the carrier, the Seller will send the shipment
details and tracking number to the Buyer's specified email address.
Delivery cost:
Shipping costs are calculated depending on the destination country
of delivery and the sizes of the shipment. Shipping prices are calculated before
the order confirmation and are visible to the Buyer before payment confirmation.
All shipping costs is in euro,
including the existing VAT of 21% valid in
the Republic of Latvia.

Condition of products must be checked at the time of
delivery – defects to be reported directly to the carrier and within 48 hours to
Seller (sales@octcomposites.com) and
the Shipping company. Any defects to the product until delivery to Buyer are
covered by Sellers responsibility.
Lost packages: Sellers' responsibility is to prepare
products for shipping. Once they are dispatched the shipping company is
responsible for the delivery of the Buyer's package. If a package is lost by the
shipping company, the Buyer is responsible for cooperating with the Seller to open
a claim to the shipping company. Claims can take 2-6 weeks for the shipping
company to complete. During this time the shipping company will reach out to the Buyer
in order to approve or deny the claim.
If by any chance, your package has been lost or stolen, the Buyer
must within 48 hours contact the Seller (sales@octcomposites.com) and the Shipping company.
Seller
will not refund or reship lost, stolen, and damaged packages before the case
will not be investigated and approved by the shipping company.
Returns and Refunds
Special orders as pre-ordered products cannot be returned!
Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia (PTAL) and Cabinet
Regulation No. 255 “Regulations on distance contracts” stipulate that the
Consumer may not exercise the right of withdrawal if: the product is made
according to the consumer's instructions (pre-ordered) or the product is
clearly personalized.
All Buyer's complaints must be sent to sales@octcomposites.com and will be
reviewed within 10 working days and answered.
If the Seller's fault is found for the product return, only
pre-approved direct costs - the cancellation of payment and return shipping will be
covered by the Seller, no additional costs are considered. If the buyers fault is found for the product return, return shipping will be covered by the Buyer.
The Buyer will receive the payment refund in 10 working days
after the product/s have been delivered back to Seller's warehouse.
Seller
will not refund or reship lost, stolen, and damaged packages before the case
will not be investigated and approved by the shipping company.
Conformity of products
In
addition, most carbon fiber products are hand-crafted, therefore no two items
will be identical. We test fit all parts before we make them available for Customers,
but it is clear that no after-market body parts will fit exactly like OEM, it
may be necessary to do minor adjustments for a good fit. Entrust the installation work to specialists!
Warranty
The warranty on new products is 12 months unless specified otherwise.
The warranty does not cover mechanical damage caused at the time of installation or use of the products.
Shipping costs and other costs for product/s return under warranty will be covered by the Buyer.
